I've never considered myself a photographer. I have a good understanding of composition and colour. I might capture some moments but its the movement, not the moment that keep me interested. Otherwise, I don't have the patience. I wouldn't have become a photographer if it wasn't for mobile phones and social media in this digital age. The thought of buying a camera, then buying film, then taking photographs, then paying money to have those photographs developed, then paying to have them printed only to be kept in a card envelope and viewed by only a handful of people, doing all that would of been completely beyond my comprehension. But with my digital phone and cameras. I can take the shot and upload it online and have it viewed by hundreds of people. Its not important if they like the images I create or not, it's more the fact they can see them, if it wasn't that simple I don't think I would carry on with it.

I'd rather take an ordinary photo that people hate but talk about, rather than take a photo that nobody notices.
